Live-In Care

Live-in care can be an excellent alternative to relocating to a care home as it assists in maintaining a sense of independence and gratification in a familiar environment, while being surrounded by friends and family. If you are considering live-in care for you or a loved one, Yorkshire Care Nurses and Support workers provide a dedicated 24-hour support service.

Live-in care can be an appropriate choice for a range of needs. Yorkshire Care offers Live-in carers for both domiciliary and complex illness, or if you or a loved one are no longer able to live unsupported. If living with Alzheimer’s or dementia for instance, live-in care can often be preferable since it provides familiarity as opposed to moving into a care home which can be a highly disorientating and traumatic experience. For others with physical difficulties, such as having an acquired brain injury or Neurological condition, it may be a more favourable choice to remain at home with a set routine.

Yorkshire Care’s carers are expertly trained in a range of specialist areas, we are proud to be able to provide some of the most qualified and experienced live-in carers in the industry. Each and every one of our carers are provided with double the amount of industry standard training and are all first aid trained.

With new carers required to undergo enhanced DBS checks, we also conduct our own background checks to ensure that each new carer is properly qualified for the role that they are about to undertake.

Live-in carers provide great companionship which is especially important for those living alone. Emotional support is often as important as physical support.
